Travel Information
The Stuttgart Region has excellent links to the German motorway and European high-speed rail networks. Flights depart regularly to over 120 destinations in more than 40 countries.
The backbone of the region's highly effective public transport system is its rail network. The suburban railway infrastructure (S-Bahn) alone accounts for some 348 kilometers of track, with 70 stations. These are supplemented by the tram network (U-Bahn), and several thousand bus stops.
