Dear friends, partners and colleagues,

It is a great pleasure for me to invite all of you to BioStar 2010 – the 4th International Congress on Regenerative Biology and Medicine. BioStar uses a unique conference format to showcase exciting ideas and developments in the field of regenerative biology and medicine. By bringing together topics relevant for research, clinical application and industry, BioStar provides an ideal meeting ground for stimulating exchanges between scientists, physicians, business people and students. BioStar 2010 – truly “Science in Exchange”! The hot topic now is abstract submission! Accepted entries will be published in the journal “Tissue Engineering”, and the Scientific Committee will select the best three presented posters to receive BioStar Poster Awards of 400 euros each. The BioStar Congress has its roots in fertile soil: The STERN BioRegion in southwest Germany and right in the heart of Europe is a stimulating environment with a vibrant academic community, excellent healthcare centers and a dynamic biotechnology industry. The exciting synergy generated by the multi-disciplinary field of regenerative biology and medicine provides great hope that together we can find ways to repair damaged organs and cure degenerative diseases and cancer.

We look forward to welcoming you to BioStar 2010.

Sincerely,

Prof. Dr. Claus D. Claussen on behalf of the Scientific Committee
