BioStar, the International Congress on Regenerative Biology and Medicine

The STERN BioRegion is home to BioStar, the International Congress on Regenerative Biology and Medicine, which took place for the first time in 2004 and repeated its successful formula in 2006, 2008 and 2010.In 2006, BioStar was a joint event with the International Congress on Bio-Nanointerface, ICBN, which also took place for the second time. This double event attracted participants from over 20 countries and opened up new perspectives in the fields of bio- and nanotechnology.
